Can viewers interact?
Viewer Participation
Viewers can actively participate in streams through the chat interface. Here is how interaction works:
- Submit prompts — viewers type messages in the stream chat. These appear as prompt suggestions for the host.
- Vote on prompts — viewers can upvote other viewers' prompts. Higher-voted prompts rise to the top, helping the host identify the most popular requests.
- React — viewers can send emoji reactions that appear as floating overlays on the stream
- Comment — general chat messages that other viewers (and the host) can see
Host Controls
The stream host decides which prompts the character responds to. You are not obligated to use every viewer prompt — curate the best ones for an engaging experience.
Requirements
Viewers need a Dyva account to submit prompts and interact. Anyone can watch without an account, but interaction requires sign-in.
Chat Etiquette
Stream chat follows the same community guidelines as the rest of the platform. The host can set additional chat rules displayed at the top of the chat panel.
Streams with active viewer interaction tend to last longer and attract more viewers. Encourage your audience to submit creative prompts.
